I have always had pretty good hair but I swear bay essential oil has just made my hair look infinitely better!!! The hair mask with bay oil is good to use just once a week to maintain the shine and volume! Also, my hair is growing like crazy! None of product could give me such effect before.

So I came across with bay essential oil a few weeks ago and after trying it a few times I gotta say, WOW. I have thick dark hair and after using different hair masks known to man I’ve never had anything make my hair as shiny and healthy as bay essential oil. The only problem I’ve had is the smell from the essential oil. It is quite strong.

I have used bay essential oil on my scalp for almost a year. I mixed it with avocado oil, which is lighter and is also said to encourage growth. My hair grew incredibly well all last year. I stopped using bay oil over the past two months (due to lack of time) and my hair has grown significantly slower. I know hair tends to grow slower in the winter, but still – I’m thinking there’s probably a link. Of course, scalp massages themselves help, too. But I’m pretty certain bay essential oil gave my hair growth a boost, too. I won’t be taking this step out of my routine anymore.

I used bay oil mainly as a scalp treatment. While I do the scalp treatment, I usually treat my length and ends with a base oil (camellia, sweet almond or hemp). I leave the whole for at least 30 minutes before shampooing, but if I can, I leave it in longer – sometimes overnight, but most of the time, at least, an hour. I wash my hair every 6 to 8 days. My hair does not feel greasy at all after it’s been shampooed. I can’t stand greasy hair so I would wash it more often if it did feel greasy. I do have dry hair and scalp to start with, though. This is something to take into account, but I do believe warming the mix carefully and mixing bay oil with a lighter oil does help. By the way, I did not notice any more shedding!

I used bay oil a lot as a scalp treatment when I had a lot of free time and it did help my hair grow faster. It also contributed greatly to the overall health of my hair. I was using it in the mixture with olive oil to soothe scalp irritation. Lately, I started using it again as I faced serious hair loss. I don’t know what was a reason for it. But I guess, stress is the only thing to blame. Usually, I like to make a mix of castor oil, glycerin, honey, two drops of bay oil and a bit of water in a spritzer bottle. I just spritz it all over my scalp and leave it overnight. This really makes my hair grow faster. I can notice that according to my grown hair roots (I have dyed hair a month ago). I have tried a bunch of different essential oils and still feels like bay oil is the best for my hair!

I have been using bay essential oil for two weeks now and the results are amazing! I usually cut my hair once a month exactly. I use it in combination with other base oils twice a week. So, my hair looks healthier and thicker. In addition, I have always tried to have a balanced diet and have been taking hair vitamins for about 3 months. I always thought that it was important to give hair a helping start (give it the best chance before it grows through the scalp). My favorite way to stimulate hair growth is doing oil massage. I add few drops of bay essential oil into olive oil (2 tablespoons) and gently massage it into the scalp. My hair looks much better!

I cut my hair really short in summer and am now ready for it to grow. I’ve been using bay oil for about 2 months so I don’t see any results yet. That oil smell is somewhat disgusting! Sometimes I can hardly bear it! I still don’t know whether to continue oil treatment for my hair or not. If I cannot see the results after such long time, then it’s useless.

I like bay essential oil in combination with castor oil. My recipe is the following: 1 tablespoon of castor oil + 1 teaspoon of macadamia oil + 2 drops of bay oil. I started doing scalp massages with a oil mix two weeks ago and my hair just gained 2 cm compared to my last measurement a month ago (it was about 1 cm). I know measurements aren’t that accurate because the hair might fall differently. But last time I measured while my hair was damp and now I did it while dry. It does seem like a lot, though!
